For potential brand ambassadors and anyone who cares about a company's ethics: After months of waiting to begin my first shift for them, and having officially scheduled my demo shifts, the company began unexpectedly and unceremoniously cancelling my shifts less than one week before they were set to begin. I emailed my contact, Adriana Hill (the national brand ambassador coordinator is her title), in a straight panic because the shifts just started mysteriously being cancelled, for explanation. All I got back was: “ All demos have been cancelled until further noticed.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but this affects all of us.”
I had about 20 shifts scheduled, and now that most of those shifts are gone, I have lost at least half of next month’s rent, as well as most of November’s rent. I’m appalled at the complete lack of communication about the cancellations, as well as the inability to proffer solutions. We all know what it’s like to call off all other opportunities to schedule in shifts.
Adriana informed me that the company would be scheduling demos again in October and she gave me about 10 more shifts. Since then, she has not communicated to me about the shifts and has continued to pull her same ol' tricks again.
Take what you will from this review, but this is a company that is NOT to be trusted because of their lack of business ethics. I won't be drinking anything they produce and sell — probably all sheisty as well.
